(Wilson, N.C.) – The Wilson Tobs stayed undefeated at Fleming Stadium after taking down the Holly Springs Salamanders 10-3 on Thursday night. Including exhibition play, the Tobs are 6-0 at home to start 2019.

Wilson hopped on the board in the first inning. Deshawn Lookout plated Calamari and Hunter Gore put the finishing touches with a two-run double. The Tobs led 4-0 out of the first.

Austin Kaplan plated a run in the second to get the Salamanders on the board but it was quickly answer back in the bottom of the inning by Wilson's Chris Meyers with a sacrifice fly. The Tobs jumped ahead in the third as Christian Avant smacked a two-run home run for his first hit in a Wilson Tobs' uniform. They led it 7-1.

The Salamanders and Tobs traded runs the rest of the way. Meyers singled home a pair in the sixth to bring his game RBI total to three for the second time this season.
